for the 1858 Remington The easy-to-switch, 1858 Remington Konverter allows you to switch back to the original cap & ball cylinder in seconds. No modification of your revolver is required with the standard Konverter. 
Cut a loading port in the frame and convert your '58 Remington for the Kirst Cartridge Konverter™ with loading gate, then add the ejector assembly for a complete Konversion, just like Remington did in the old days. The loading gate version can also be switched back to cap & ball in a few moments.
